Although Saturn is famous for its rings, Uranus has its own system of narrow, faint rings which are far less visible from Earth. This mysterious piece reflects their shadowy presence through repeating patterns and dark, shimmering colours on the black keys. Intended to be taught largely by rote, the piece requires very little reading and allows even early beginners to explore atmosphere, shape and confident movement around the keyboard.
