The Blue Marble is the famous photograph of Earth taken by the crew of Apollo 17 in 1972. Seen from 18,000 miles away, the planet appears calm, delicate and unexpectedly peaceful. This piece reflects that atmosphere through a lullaby-like melody and shimmering textures. Although tranquil in character, several fiddly passages require careful control and coordination. Approximate level: Grade 4.
